I didn't realize how much Ioved architectural photography until an Atlanta general contracting company hired me to come down and capture detail shots of a newly renovated school they had just finished. The school building was originally a presbyterian church that the school had bought, wanting to turn it into class spaces for their lower school. The buildings indoor spaces boast a sophisticated charm. The classrooms were both bright and functional begging for some ‘ah-ha’ learning moments. And the chapel/study room with its stunning stained glass and lofty wooden beams – it feels both historic and inspiring, a setting where big ideas can soar. Then, there's the outdoor areas (my personal favorite) – vibrant greenery and a tucked-away stone courtyards provide a perfect place for students outside. The new school blends tradition and modernity seamlessly – I was grateful to be able to capture it!
