It was truly a joy and an honor to be asked to photograph Lauren Mann’s Deaconate ordination service. Having had the pleasure of knowing and working closely with Lauren for several months, I had come to deeply admire and respect her both personally and professionally. Witnessing her take this significant step in her spiritual journey was a profound experience. The ceremony took place at Church of the Apostles in Raleigh, NC, where Lauren served on staff. The service itself followed a traditional format, with the lighting being soft and elegant, and the use of a single lens captured the essence of the moment perfectly. This project was not only technically enjoyable but also personally meaningful. Being able to document such a pivotal occasion in Lauren’s life was both fulfilling and inspiring.
