This was a fun and wet event! The Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee hosts this event each year to help raise money for the council. Runners sign up for a 5K or mile run and are guaranteed a box of cookies. Runners were also rewarded with breakfast burritos and coffee from several local food trucks! This year the rain did not hold off but runners still came out to race through the mud and cold. The overcast skies made for incredible photos with beautiful colors–even if I had to carry a few micro-fiber cloths with me. While I didn't run the race I ended up logging a little over 2.5Km from running along the route.
